Unlike the Pacific Ocean beaches, the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico in this area are white and covered in shells. One can’t walk a few feet without seeing hundreds of small to large shells 
Ford on the beach – between running into the waves.
But eh, one has to have sea rats no matter where they go……
