Gorp Bars

12-ounces chocolate chips (a bag)
6-ounces butterscotch chips
1 cup uncooked quick oatmeal
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup shredded natural coconut
1/2 cup broken or chopped cashews
1/2 cup chopped peanuts, walnuts or sliced almonds

Melt chips in a double boiler or in microwave (carefully if you use the microwave), blend in the honey. Pour over everything else in a large bowl. Mix well, working fast – using a silicone spatula works well. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. When partly cool, cut into bars..whatever size you would like. Wrap in plastic wrap. Store in the frig or freezer till trail time.
