If you are on the Left Coast, there are a couple Trail Festivals to consider attending in the coming months. We will be at both of them.
March 28, 2009 (A Saturday):
We will be a vendor at the PCTA Trails Fest in Portland, Oregon coming up on March 28, 2009. As well we will be doing a presentation on trail food and water purification. We would love to see you! For more information, visit the PCTA website. The Trail Fest is a 3 day event, though the Saturday is the main day when most things are held. If you love hiking on the PCT, this can be a very enjoyable Fest to attend. We were a vendor in 2007, when it was held in Seattle.
July 18, 2009 (A Saturday):
Washington Trails Association (WTA) Trails Fest, held outside of North Bend, Washington along the shores of Rattlesnake Lake. This yearly festival is THE place to be for hikers in Washington. We will be back for our third year! Lots of vendors, presentations and many fun things to do – from hiking to kayaking (many of which are free). Entrance is free, as is parking. Bored kids? Bring them!
