High Calorie Fat Bombs

Could it be the ultimate hiker food?

fatbombs

Averaging 480 calories and 20 grams fat, they weigh in at 4 1/2 ounces.

Do the math and see the benefits of the calories. Even better…you can just stick in in your maw while you hike. No chewing needed!

Hehheh…like everyone needs an excuse for junkfood, no?

Have an awesome weekend and I hope you all see some trail!

  1. I used to love those when I was a kid. Now I cringe at the thought that the dessert in my lunchbox had as many calories as the sandwich and fruit combined.
Never thought about them for hiking food. Don’t they get smooshed?

  2. They did well for being carried – though we all carried our pies in our top packs 😉

  3. Holy heck, what a great idea. I haven’t had one of those in years, and now I am dying for a cherry one. Maybe I’ll treat myself on next weekend’s backpack.
