New Recipe: Raw Cookie Dough Balls

It’s Friday night. You are going hiking this weekend. You want an easy/tasty/healthy treat that you can make in a few minutes and pack up?

Raw Cookie Dough Balls


  • 2/3 cup raw cashews
  • 1/3 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch fine sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp dark chocolate chips


Add all the ingredients, except for chocolate, into a food processor. Process on high until finely chopped, scraping sides as needed. Add in chocolate, process on high until chopped up.

Make 1 Tablespoon scoops, roll in your hands to pack. Chill until set, then pack into a bag or lightweight container. If in a bag, store in a cup or cooking pot so they don’t get crushed.

Makes about 10 balls.
