First Look At and a Giveaway: Active Series Insoles

We recently received review samples of the new line from Dr. Scholl’s®, the Active Series™ Insoles. If you have been reading our blog over the years, you know I have tried many, many insoles. From SuperFeet® to custom fitted ones – my feet are everything to me. If they are not happy I cannot walk or hike. So I am always open to trying new methods (for example I loved my custom fitted insoles until after a couple of months I found they started squeaking. The running store made me a new pair and same squeak. It was enough to drive me batty!)

The insoles come in Female and Male options, each in two sizes. The insoles are easily trimmed to fit your favorite shoes (Keen Voyagers for this lady!) and come with detailed instructions on the back of the package (and also online).

The touted benefits? Thick ball of foot area, stiff arch, deep padded heel cup and SweatMAX™ technology to help eliminate odor. I will be testing them out in fabulous pink (seriously, I actually like pink) to see how they fare. Expect an update in a month or so.

Currently the website has a $5 off coupon you can print  (look to the right for a big yellow ‘flag’) or if you get a Sunday paper, I saw a $5 coupon this past Sunday in the coupon section.

Giveaway Time!

They have graciously offered up a pair of Men’s Insoles, that fit shoes sizes 7.5 to 10, for a lucky reader! ($24.99 value)

We have made entry easy using Rafflecopter. There are three ways to get entry points. The winner will get a new pair in Men’s 7.5 – 10 (which would also work for women, if you have wider/longer feet – it should fit a women’s 9.5 – 12).

Note: On the Facebook like option, if you already have liked our page you can still click on for an extra point/entry, cause we trust you and all that jazz.

  1. Hello Sarah, Oh! Don’t I know wabout sore feet and insoles. Seems I’ve treid them all. Currently trying out a pair of Alpaca felt insoles I got at my local farmer’s market. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter – not like wool at all. And no squeeking! Curious to see how fast they dry out when wet.

  2. It did show up (sorry I’ve been working nights and am a bit sleep deprived between both jobs). That said, these are amazing. I worked nearly 80 hours last week (most of which was on my feet) and with the insoles my feet still like me.

We'd love to hear your thoughts!
