New Recipe: Dehydrated Cinnamon Carrot Shreds

Added this week to the Dehydrating 101 section on TrailCooking is Dehydrated Cinnamon Carrot Shreds:


We used a great product in the seasoned crispy carrots, Real Salt. I’ve used Rea Salt for years, but had a chance in May to meet the company at a food conference in Utah.


If you haven’t tried it, it has a taste unlike other salt. In meals where the pinch of salt shows through, it really pays off (like when salting foods to be dehydrated). They also make a nifty glass vial, for carrying (yes, I have had one for years and refill it!)
