In Your Face Morning Mocha made with NESCAFÉ Taster’s Choice
We’re hikers, always looking to cut weight, but not quality. In a hipster world, it’s easy to overlook NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee, but maybe you should give it a try. NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® Coffee Challenge: My challenge was to revisit recipes I created for Trailcooking, and made them again, with NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® 100% Columbian coffee. Considering I love coffee, this was a challenge I could get behind – and finish. I love a rich coffee, and this one works great in trail mochas.

In Your Face Morning Mochas
- 1¼ cups instant milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 to 4 Tbsp NESCAFÉ Taster’s Choice instant coffee
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Generous pinch of fine sea salt
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Bag the powder into ½ cup portions.
2 Tbsp of instant coffee powder will provide a sweet mocha flavor. 4 Tbsp will give you the “bite” of a double shot mocha.
To prepare: Add 1 cup boiling water slowly to the mix, stirring well. Sip away and wake up!
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
