March is here, and it might have been one of the wettest winters, but spring is (somewhat) showing up. At least that means we have been getting local hiking in, between rainstorms.
On those days when school lets out early, or the weather is too iffy to go far, the local trail at the Arboretum are always great for a quick hike.
Flowering Currant is blooming – and it smells so great.

Now this one was an interesting tale….Kirk needed a new dehydrator for drying brass he had cleaned. So I picked him a basic Nesco on a great sale price, and he’s a happy camper. It is marked though to not use it for food now, since it’s his hobby dryer!
I love having time to sift through old photos. When I find ones that catch my eye, I sometimes post them up on Instagram 🙂 This one was from many years ago…on a rail to trail – gotta love benches for lunchtime prep! We were having instant wonton soup that day….
